Hi there ,

My name is Kavya Katkuri, and I am currently a rising senior at West Windsor Plainsboro High School South.

Here, at 4 Paws, 1 Heart, there were mainly two sources of inspiration that caused the uproots of this business:

I absolutely love dogs.
I wanted to take something I care emotionally about, and turn it into something worth sharing with everyone.

When I was in middle school, my family decided on getting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He was the cutest thing in the world, and I spent every minute of my time with him. Unfortunately, during his time with us, he developed aggression issues and had anxiety, and a lot of vets told us it would be best to give him to a specialized Corgi center who works with dogs with similar behavior.

There was no specific diagnosis for his case except that it was a rare and unfortunate one.

This small business is a tribute to him because I want to be able to provide for dogs of all shapes, sizes, behaviors, and mannerisms.
